Revista Ferroviária was started on January 1940 in Rio de Janeiro, by the engineer Rubem Vaz Toller, from the Central do Brazil RR. Revista Ferroviária is the oldest magazine in Brazil with regular circulation (monthly). It covers the freight railroads,'metros and metropolitan train systems in Brazil.
In parallel to'Revista Ferroviária (webpage www.revistaferroviaria.com.br), the publishing company organizes conferences on railroad transportation and an annual show called Business on Rails. Each year the magazine attributes the Railroader of the Year Award. The company leads also historic research. |
