China Association of Assistive Products (CAAP)

China Association of Assistive Products (CAAP, originally titled as China Prosthesis and Orthosis Association) was established in November, 1986. Under the guidance of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the PRC, CAAP voluntarily consists of the enterprises, institutions, social groups belonging to the assistive products industry, the practitioners of this industry, experts, scholars, and leading figures of various circles of society. CAAP, as a non-for-profit national social organization, an independent legal entity and industrial association, is entrusted by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the PRC to administer the whole assistive products industry in China. CAAP is a member of International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO).
