The Korea Institute of Fire Industry & Technology which had been contributing to national safety by advancing fire technology of Korea since its establishment in 1977, has been reborn as the Korea Fire Industry Technology Institute(KFI) with enactment of the Fire Industry Promotion Act(Dec. 6, 2008).
By escaping from the past scope of operation limited to inspecting fire equipment, KFI is now engaged in a wider range of functions, such as establishing the foundations of the fire industry, supporting business establishment, supporting development of fire industry experts and supporting international cooperation and overseas market entry. in this way, KFI will fulfill greater responsibilities in leading the fire industry of Korea in the days ahead.
KFI aims to create a happier world for all by continuously creating strong safety values in the fire industry to win the trust of the nation. |
