The Korea Water Resources Association (KWRA) founded in 1967 is a non-profit association dedicated to the advancement of water resources research, planning, development, management, and education. KWRA has a membership of 2,900 from multidisciplinary including academia, engineers, managers, regulators, and students.
KWRA promises a balanced, sustainable, adaptive and professional approach to solving water resources challenges in Korea. The main interests include the development of water resources to mitigate water scarcity, scientific forecast, control and management of flood, the implementation of integrated water resources management, restoration of aquatic ecosystems, and adaptation to climate change. |
