The mission of the World Association of Disaster and Emergency Medicine (WADEM) is to enhance the well-being and resilience of individuals, communities, and societies affected by emergencies and disasters through evidence-based improvements and comprehensive, trans-disciplinary education in emergency and disaster health, community empowerment, and advocacy for effective policies for disaster risk reduction.
