| The Japan Amusement Machine Association (JAMMA), a general incorporated association, and the All Japan Amusement Facility Operators Association (AOU), a general incorporated association, merged on April 1, 2018 to become an industry organization that brings together the arcade game industry and the amusement facility industry. The Japan Amusement Industry Association (JAIA) was established.
